How we “Discovered” a jewel in the Kansas City Northland and helped them “Define” their identity.

When we started working with THE SPA Tuscano they had been in business for several years.  It was their desire to provide an updated look and feel to their website.  After further investigation we collectively realized that they also needed to send their brand to have a deep tissue massage to work our some of the kinks and increase circulation to provide a healthful lift and reinvigorate their brand.

We started at the beginning to define the essence of their brand.  Several discovery sessions were held and a brief SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis was performed as well.  After THE SPA’s treatments not only was their brand and messaging clearly defined, but they had an actionable strategy in hand to execute.

Two guys get branded. Ouch!

That’s right we branded them right up.  When 2 Guys Gourmet came to us they were literally just 2 guys.   No name.  No brand.  Just an idea and sample products.  It’s rare that we get to work with someone at the ground floor so this was fun.  We started simple.  We interviewed “the guys” and found out their backgrounds, passions and goals.  We brained stormed and then crowd sourced ideas for their brand through Facebook and Twitter.  We found out what resonated with their target audience rather than running down a path that their audience wouldn’t identify with.  We worked with them to not only develop visual branding elements, but also to help them develop a strategy and messaging.
